Euryn JonesEuryn was brought up on an upland dairy and sheep family farm in North Wales. After graduating in Agricultural Economics he was appointed Lecturer in Farm Business Management at the Welsh Agricultural College. He subsequently held leading positions at the College and at the University of Wales Aberystwyth.
He joined Barclays Bank as one of their Regional Agricultural Specialists in 1999 and was subsequently appointed as the bank’s National Agricultural Specialist. In 2011 he joined HSBC as Regional Agriculture Director and was subsequently appointed the bank’s Deputy Head of Agriculture until his retirement in 2023. Euryn is Chair of Welsh Government’s 'Farming Connect’ Programme Board and is a Fellow of the Royal Agricultural Societies. |
