Having studied Engineering at Selwyn College, Cambridge and Business at Manchester University, I now run Longley Farm. In Yorkshire, we make fresh dairy products and farm arable and Jersey cows. In Australia we have a dairy factory focused on export and run a small Red Poll herd.  We no longer farm in Estonia, but still have business interests there. In Uruguay we have a Jersey milking herd. My special agricultural interests are the production and application of milk components;  the environment ; sustainability;  the ethics of farming. ​
